- A channel with several feeds is still one entry in the list; picking between feeds is the router’s job, not yours.

Varunsh Vista arranges the home screen for you
Vista is the browse experience: 10 rows built and reordered automatically, a full-bleed billboard on top, and a router underneath that keeps the picture up.

- A full-bleed hero billboard drawn from backdrop art, with play as the first action.
- Horizontally scrolling poster rows sized for a ten-foot view.
- The feed refreshes every 5 minutes, so "live now" means now.
- D-pad navigation throughout, tuned for a TV remote rather than adapted from a phone.
Smart Source Router
- A title with several sources is shown once — the count is not your problem.
- Round-robin failover moves to the next source when one stops delivering.
- Background probing switches to a faster source when it finds one.
- If a stream is still not up after 30 seconds, the companion app can announce it out loud instead of leaving you watching a spinner.
- Selection runs a single round, so a title that genuinely has no working source fails fast rather than looping.
Unified search and playback
- One query searches movies, shows and live channels at the same time.
- Results are presented as Varunsh entries, never as a list of upstream providers.
- Playback supports HLS, DASH, MP4 and RTMP with subtitle rendering and quality selection.

Ask for what you want, in the language you speak
Hindi, English or Hinglish, typed or spoken. The assistant knows the catalogue, so it answers with things you can actually play.
What you can ask for
- Natural-language chat in Hindi, English or Hinglish.
- Voice commands, including from your phone used as the TV’s microphone.
- Content-aware recommendations drawn from the indexed catalogue rather than generic suggestions.
- Scheduling: queue something to play later. Reminders: get told when a show is about to air.
- A daily entertainment digest, and "refresh channels" on demand when a source looks stale.
- Dashboard arrangement — the assistant can reorder your Vista rows around what you watch.

Bringing your own key
- The assistant runs on Gemini 3.1 Flash Live.
- You can add your own Google AI Studio API key during setup — it is optional and skippable, and the rest of the app works without it.
- Several keys can be held and rotated, so one key hitting its quota does not take the assistant down.
- The model can be changed centrally without a new app build.
Varunsh Orb
Your phone becomes the remote and the microphone
Varunsh Orb pairs to the TV with a 6-character code, then acts as remote, keyboard and voice input — with 5 visual modes that tell you what it is doing.
Where this stands today: The Orb companion app is not on any store yet — the build is supplied directly while store listings are in progress.
The orb interface
- Drawn natively on the phone’s canvas — no embedded web view, so it stays smooth.
- Plasma core, rim light and atmosphere glow, with 120 floating particles and three gyroscopic rings.
- 5 modes with distinct colours: Idle (cyan), Neural (magenta), Overdrive (gold), Singularity (purple), Voice (green).
- A telemetry overlay and chat bubbles keep the conversation and the state visible at once.
Remote control
- Full D-pad: up, down, left, right, select and back.
- Transport controls: play, pause, stop, rewind, fast forward.
- Volume with haptic feedback, so you can adjust it without looking.
- Launch a channel or title directly from the phone instead of navigating on the TV.
Phone as the TV microphone
- Hold to talk and your voice streams from the phone to the TV and on to the assistant.
- The reply plays on the TV and the phone, so it works from across the room.
- This is an audio bridge between your own devices, not a phone call.
Pairing
- A six-step setup wizard: welcome, network check, find the TV, pair, optional API key, done.
- The TV shows a 6-character code; you type it into the phone. Codes expire after 10 minutes — ask the TV for a fresh one.
- Ambiguous characters are left out of the code alphabet, so there is no guessing between O and 0.
- On the same Wi-Fi the phone talks to the TV directly; otherwise it relays through our server, so pairing still works on mobile data or guest Wi-Fi.
- Each pair gets its own token and reconnects on its own after a dropout. You can revoke a pairing whenever you like.
Your account
One number, one TV, one phone
Your subscription is tied to your mobile number and enforced on our servers, so it stays yours. Extra screens are a deliberate, cheap decision.
Devices
- Every plan includes one TV device and one mobile device, bound to your registered mobile number.
- A second TV is refused with the name of the device holding the slot — you release it or add capacity, without waiting on support.
- Extra devices are priced per device per billing period and managed yourself from Account → Devices.
- Enforcement is server-side: device records, hardware fingerprints and token rotation on every check, so the client clock cannot be used to extend access.
Trial and free tier
- Seven-day trial, no card, one per mobile number and one per device.
- After it ends, the free tier keeps news, religious and basic sports channels available with ads, capped at 500 channels.
- Every paid plan is ad-free. Ads exist only on the free and trial tiers.
Protecting the subscription
- The app checks its own signature and looks for rooting, hooking frameworks, known modding tools, debug builds and emulators.
- Reports are scored on the server and a device that scores badly is blocked, with the attempt recorded.
- Per-device rate limits on streams, searches and API calls stop one device being used as a relay for many.
- Content is gated behind a server-side subscription check rather than a flag inside the app.
