Grievance redressal
Published under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021
If something has gone wrong and normal support has not resolved it, this is your escalation route. We take every grievance seriously and respond within defined timelines.
1. Try support first
Most issues — refunds, device limits, playback problems — are resolved fastest by contacting support, which replies within one business day. Use the grievance channel below if support has not resolved your issue, or you are dissatisfied with the outcome.
2. Grievance officer
3. What to include
- Your registered mobile number
- Order ID, if the complaint concerns a payment
- What happened, and what you would like us to do
- Any earlier support ticket reference
- Screenshots, if they help explain the problem
4. Our timelines
| Stage | Timeline |
|---|---|
| Acknowledgement of your grievance | Within 48 hours |
| Resolution | Within 30 days of receipt |
| Content takedown requests | Acted on within 36 hours |
| Requests for information from lawful authorities | As legally required |
5. Copyright and content complaints
Varunsh OS TV indexes third-party streams and metadata. If you own rights in material surfaced by the service and want it removed, email the grievance officer with proof of ownership, the exact title or channel, and a statement that you are authorised to act. We remove or de-index verified material within 36 hours.
6. If you are still not satisfied
You may approach the National Consumer Helpline (1915 or consumerhelpline.gov.in), or the consumer forum with jurisdiction over your location. Nothing in our terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
